The Daggerheart.tools site and its affiliates (collectively “Daggerheart.tools”, “we” and “us”) respect your privacy.

We do not require that you provide, nor do we collect, any personal information if you are just browsing the Site.
We may offer certain functionality and services, such as accessing future services and submitting content (eg product reviews, comments, metadata) that may require you provide certain personal information or may in which in the process of submitting such content inadvertently supply us with personal information. We will not disclose your personal information to any third party unless:

1) it is necessary in order to provide you with a particular Service you have requested;
2) it is required of us in order to comply with a legal process in any applicable jurisdiction (e.g., court order, subpoena, search warrant, law enforcement request);
3) Daggerheart.tools determines, in its sole discretion, that disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, and safety of Daggerheart.tools, its subsidiaries, affiliates, co-brand partners or other parties under contract with Daggerheart.tools, our users, or others;
4) you have provided such data through a partner's site hosted by us, in which case we may provide your personal data to that partner (Daggerheart.tools is not responsible for its partners' privacy policies or their use, storage and processing of data collected on their web sites).

User Accounts

If you create an account, or accept an invitation to create one, we collect and store the information needed to operate that account. This includes your name, email address, and a securely hashed version of your password (we never store passwords in plain text). We also record the date and time on which you accepted this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service.

To keep your account secure and functional we may additionally process and store:

1) email verification status, so that we can confirm you control the email address used;
2) two-factor authentication data, such as an authenticator secret and recovery codes, if you choose to enable it;
3) the date and time of your most recent login and limited activity information, used to operate and secure the service;
4) administrative invitation details where your account was created through an invitation.

We use this information solely to provide and secure the account features you have requested, such as authentication, email verification, and access control. We send service-related emails (for example, email verification messages) as a necessary part of operating an account.

Captcha

When you register or use certain account features, we present a captcha challenge to help prevent automated abuse. The captcha is served and verified by us from our own infrastructure; its assets are loaded from this site (same origin) and we do not load the captcha from a third-party content delivery network. This applies only to user-account features such as registration and login; it is not used for general, anonymous browsing of the Site.

Browser Storage

Several tools on the Site store data locally in your browser (for example, in your browser's local storage) so that your selections and preferences persist between visits. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to our servers as part of operating those tools. Some features may also encode your selections into a shareable link; when you create or open such a link, the relevant data is carried within the link itself. You can clear this data at any time by clearing your browser's storage for the Site. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising.

Server Logs

Our web servers collect from Site visitors’ statistical information regarding what pages are visited, the date and time of the visits, how long it took a user to download a page, and the TCP/IP address of the user. These automated server functions do not collect this information in a manner intended to identify your individual use of the Site.

The Site contains links to web sites of third parties. Daggerheart.tools is not responsible for the actions of these third parties, including their privacy practices and any content posted on their web sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies to learn more about what, why and how they collect and use personal information. Daggerheart.tools adheres to industry recognized standards to secure any personal information in our possession, and to secure it from unauthorized access and tampering. However, as is true with all online actions, it is possible that third parties may unlawfully intercept transmissions of personal information, or other users of the Site may misuse or abuse your personal information that they may collect from the Site.

Uploaded Images and User-Submitted Content

If you use features that allow image uploads or other user-submitted content, we may process and store the files you upload, together with related technical information such as upload time, account identifier, file name, file type, file size, and server logs.

Uploaded images may contain personal data, including images of identifiable people or other information visible in the image. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights and permissions before uploading any image that contains personal data relating to another person.

We process uploaded images for the purpose of providing the relevant site functionality, including storing the image, displaying it where applicable, generating thumbnails or optimized versions, maintaining security, preventing abuse, and troubleshooting technical issues.

We do not use uploaded images for advertising or sell uploaded image data to third parties. If we use third-party hosting, storage, backup, security, or infrastructure providers, they may process uploaded files only as necessary to provide their services to us.

We do not use AI/LLM/Generative AI services to process uploaded images or other user-submitted content. Uploaded images are not used to train AI models and we do not intend to use them for that purpose in the future. Uploaded images are not shared with AI service providers.

Uploaded images are retained for as long as needed to provide the relevant feature, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our Terms of Service. You may request deletion of your personal data by contacting us at info@daggerheart.tools, subject to any legal or technical limitations.
